From April 8-11, 2008, UBC Xiamen has concluded its participation of the four-day 12th China Xiamen Machinery & Electronics Exhibition (CXMEE) with fruitful results. The UBC Xiamen team£¬ represented by UBC Xiamen Branch Office sales team and UBC authorized distributor in Xiamen£¬ SanYan Trade Co., Ltd have promoted UBC new products like heat treatment equipment as well as UBC high-grade products of Grade E steel-made spherical roller bearings, full-compliment roller bearings, automotive clutch bearings, construction equipment bearings and bearing housing units. These products have gained consistent following among present customers, and an equally strong market potential in this region.

This year¡¯s CXMEE organizing resources have consisted of influential cross-straits government and trade organizations in the field of machinery and electronic industries, as well Xiamen and Fujian municipal agencies all boosting CXMEE¡¯s reputation as the foremost platform for cross-straits cooperation in jointly tapping the global machinery and electronics market. Furthermore, nearly 100 world-class industry giants from Japan, Germany, the United States, South Korea and Italy attended CXMEE. Indeed, Mainland, Taiwan and world brands have formed a tripartite complex at this year¡¯s exhibition.

.

The 12th CXMEE continued to receive extensive attention from overseas business groups and industry professionals, who took an active part in the events. A total of 715 enterprises from across the Taiwan Straits set up 1,810 booths, with a total exhibition area of 40,000 square meters posting the highest number on record. Machinery continued to be the single largest category of exhibits. Instruments, industrial control and moulds have also been showcased on a significant scale. Visitor attendance has numbered to almost 50,000 from 39 countries and territories, 15% of which came from overseas countries. Taiwan continued to be the largest source of overseas visitors, with 2,500 visitors to its name.

Moriever, a wide array of supporting events being staged during the four-day exhibit have delivered substantial results; primarily in promoting technological collaboration and paving trade partnership across the Taiwan Strait. In particular, UBC Xiamen Branch Office Manager Mr. QingGang Huang participated in ¡°The Cross-Straits Investment and Trade Matchmaking Forum¡±, a strategic trade-exchange platform where he was able to introduce UBC product and company information and its strong supplier- potential to Taiwanese enterprises engaged in machinery industries. This forum drew 100 participants from the Mainland enterprises in its more than 200 conducted sessions.

With all these, the 12th CXMEE undoubtedly has seen significant overall improvements in exhibitor scale and greater industry specialization that in turn produce more significant results both on the exhibitor and visitor side. It is the first time UBC has joined in this event; and with the promise of greater cross-straits economic cooperation and market relevance in the next future, UBC is making plans to increase its investment and participate in an equally greater scale, for next year¡¯s 13th CXMEE.

In attendance during the said event is also Ms. Albina Hao and Mr. Huang Chun; UBC Marketing Manager and Segment Manager for Electric industry.
