Smooth and quiet precision guidance is achieved with preloaded ball bearing rollers, guided by hardened steel ways, housed in a tough aluminum alloy extrusion. With a broad selection of ball screw leads, the PL Series of linear actuators is a simple choice. The magnetic, stainless steel cover strip keeps contaminants at bay, making the PL Series suitable for clean room use and dirty environments. Lower system costs in the PL Series are achieved by eliminating costly gear boxes required by similar belt drive actuators. Internal lubrication ensures long system life. Standard options include: limit switches, motor mounts, mounting hardware, and couplings to make ordering and installing the actuator simple. Sizes up to 1.5 meters in length are available.
