Organized by EP/ Electrical China, Technical Appraisal Conference for Super Large Bi-metal Inlaid Spherical Plain Bearings from Dalian Sanhuan Composite Technology Development Co.ltd was held on Feb 23. Total 13 experts from China Society of Hydroelectric Engineering and China Hydropower Engineering Consulting Group Co formed the appraisal committee. They spoke highly of this new product and commented that the loading capacity, friction coefficients, service life and other main performances were equivalent to the foreign import ones.
Though China had a decade of experience with Bi-metal Inlaid Spherical Plain Bearings, but this kind of bearings with diameter over 600mm for Hydraulic Engineering still mainly depended on import. Characterized by heavy load, low friction coefficient, long service life and adaptive property, the development of this Large Bi-metal Inlaid Spherical Plain Bearings attracted much attention from engineering industry and will achieve good economic benefit.
