SMTCL Ranked 91st Among China's 500 Most Competitive Large Enterprises in 2007

Shenyang Machine Tool (Group) Co Ltd (SMTCL) has recently been recognized one of China's 500 most competitive large enterprises in 2007.

Scoring an integrated index of 75.57, the machine tool maker occupied the 91st position in the list.

The assessment system of China's 500 most competitive large enterprises comprises of two parts: capability and system. For the "capability" part, there are 47 indicators under three categories: survival, development, and potential.

For the "system" part, there are 11 indicators under five categories: system, decision making, encouragement, management, and innovation.
